Austrange Announces Strategic Partnership with Vision Care NGO
We're thrilled to announce a strategic partnership between Austrange Solutions and VisionForward, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to supporting visually impaired communities across India.
Partnership Highlights
This collaboration represents a significant step in our mission to make assistive technology accessible to those who need it most. The partnership focuses on three key areas:
1. Technology Distribution Program
Together with VisionForward, we'll be launching a program to distribute 500 E-SIGHT devices to individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds over the next 18 months. The program will prioritize:
- Students pursuing higher education
- Working professionals navigating urban environments
- Elderly individuals with age-related vision impairments
2. Training & Support Network
A comprehensive training program will accompany device distribution, ensuring users can maximize the benefits of E-SIGHT technology. This includes:
- In-person training sessions in 12 major cities
- Online support resources and video tutorials
- Peer mentorship connections
- Regular follow-up assessments
3. Research Collaboration
Our technical team will work closely with VisionForward's research department to gather valuable user data and feedback, directly informing future product improvements. This user-centered approach ensures that our innovations remain grounded in real needs.
Impact Goals
Through this partnership, we aim to:
- Improve the mobility independence of 500+ individuals
- Collect comprehensive user experience data across diverse demographics
- Develop specific adaptations for Indian urban and rural environments
- Create sustainable models for assistive technology distribution
